Silver Pearls is seeking compassionate, dependable, and friendly companions to provide non-medical support to seniors in their homes.
This position focuses on companionship, household assistance, and helping clients maintain their independence while enjoying meaningful social interaction.
Responsibilities
*Provide friendly companionship and conversation
*Prepare light meals and snacks
*Perform light housekeeping and laundry
*Assist with organizing and decluttering
*Accompany clients on walks or recreational activities
*Provide transportation to appointments or errands (when assigned)
*Grocery shopping and other errands
*Encourage social engagement and independence
*Report concerns or changes in a client's condition to Silver Pearls
*Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and respect for every client
Requirements
At least 21 years of age
Compassionate, patient, and dependable
Excellent communicators with a positive attitude
Comfortable working independently
Able to pass a background check
Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Have current automobile insurance
Own a smartphone and can communicate by text and email
Able to lift up to 25 pounds
Authorized to work in the United States
