About Silver Pearls

Silver Pearls was born in love, shaped by loss, and built with intention.

It is my healing. It is my tribute.

A Love Letter to My Mother

Mommy, just like a silver pearl, your value deepened with time — shaped by strength, resilience, and love. Your laugh was contagious, and your will was unmatched. Caring for you taught me patience, respect, and a deep appreciation for how precious each moment truly is.

When your health declined and you entered a nursing home, I felt how deeply saddened you were. Though life placed many limitations on you, losing your independence was the hardest blow. Before I could find a way to bring you home, you passed away suddenly.

Grief changed me, but your love stayed. â€‹I dedicate Silver Pearls to you and how I imagine you wanted your life to be.

A Love Letter to My Aunt Cookie

Auntie, just like a silver pearl, you become more valuable with time through wisdom, experience, and resilience. You loved people, conversations, and feeling connected to the world around you. We talked every day — sometimes about important things, sometimes about nothing at all.

But what I will remember most is, your belief in advocating for seniors. To make sure they remain curious, connected, and not left behind — especially with technology. You believed aging meant evolving. Silver Pearls carries your belief that seniors deserve knowledge, tools, and confidence to remain engaged with life.

I honor you by continuing your mission.

Love you both forever and always!
